Where do you ship to?
We currently ship within the US including Hawaii, Alaska along with international shipping to Canada. More countries will be added soon.
How much is shipping? Are there any Fees for International shipping?
Shipping to the US:
We have a flat rate of $12.99 to all locations in the Continental US, and $19.99 to Alaska and Hawaii.
Shipping to Canada:
We have a flat shipping rate of $34.99 to any province or territory. The recipient is responsible for all duty, taxes, tariffs, and fees, including brokerage fees. These costs tend to range from an additional $35 – $70 and have been due upon delivery. We do work to ensure that our products are below the $150CA Duty Free Threshold.
How long will it take for my order to be processed and delivered?
Our goal is to have your order shipped within 48 hours. Depending on demand, processing could take anywhere from 1 – 3 business days to ship. Please allow 2 – 6 business days for delivery once your order ships; however, this will vary depending on the mail carrier and destination.
How do orders ship?
US orders are mailed using the United States Postal Service (USPS), and UPS. Our shipments to Canada are through the Postal Service and UPS.
How do I know my order was received?
As soon as we receive your order, you will be sent a confirmation email that your order was processed, or if there was a problem. You will receive a second email once postage has been purchased and a tracking number has been added to your order. (Please be sure to check your spam/junk mailbox). You should also receive a notification from your payment processor (PayPal, Visa, ApplePay, etc.).
What is your Refund/Return Policy?
All sales are final. However, in the circumstance of an unused product we have a two day return policy after delivery. You can contact us at info@CubitTools.com with the subject line “Two Day Return Policy” within the 48 hour time frame after delivery, if the item is unused and you wish to return it. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. After contacting us at the email above we will provide a Return Authorization Number for you to include on your return shipment packaging. Once your return shipment has been received, inspected and approved we will initiate the refund process within 24 hours to the original payment method that was used during purchasing. Shipping Fees are non-refundable.
What kind of Warranty do you offer?
We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the following qualified products:
- Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger DIY
- Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger PRO
If your qualified Cubit Tools Inc product has a defect in materials, craftsmanship, or has broken due to normal/regular use or wear and tear, we offer a free replacement of the product. You will only pay for shipping fees. Contact info@CubitTools.com with the Subject Line: “Warranty Return”, to receive directions on getting a replacement for your product. You will need to include a photo of the product with the defect or that has been broken. We will ship a replacement product within 2 business days of approving your warranty claim.
PLEASE NOTE: Damage to a qualified product outside of the accepted reasons for warranty consideration will be evaluated on a case by case basis, and may be excluded from a warranty replacement. Ex. Using a steel hammer instead of a standard, rubber, or dead-blow mallet. DO NOT USE a steel hammer with the DIY version of the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger as stated in the product material shipped with your products.
What if my tracking information shows my order was delivered, however I did not receive it?
Cubit Tools Inc is not responsible for lost or stolen packages when delivery to the shipping address that was provided has been confirmed.
Will I be notified when my package is delivered?
Cubit Tools Inc will not notify you. Your notification will come from the shipping company that is delivering your product, and based on the shipping method chosen.
Where can I view my order history?
If you have created an account, this information is available to you by visiting your Cubit Tools Inc account. Once you are logged in, select “ORDERS” to view your history.
Where do I get my receipt and invoices?
All online order documentation will be emailed to you when your order is placed and shipped. Cubit Tools Inc emails your order confirmation and tracking information. Your order confirmation serves as your invoice/receipt. It includes your order number, all products included in your order, and pricing information. We do not have the capability to send you a PDF invoice.
Why has my order been in transit for so long?
Once a package leaves our facility, it is out of our control. Depending on what carrier is used will play a factor in delivery time. Please keep an eye on your tracking.
The USPS has not updated my tracking information in several days?
The USPS does not provide real time tracking updates, but be assured your package is still in transit and will be arriving soon.
What do I do if I do not receive my package or the contents are wrong?
If you do not receive your package, or the contents of your package are missing or incorrect, please contact info@CubitTools.com within 15 days of receipt of your package or your delivery status is marked as delivered. After 15 days we can no longer do a proper investigation and we will not be able to rectify your issue.
How do I receive my tracking information?
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number (please be sure to check your spam/junk mailbox).
How do I find out the status of my order?
If you created an account during checkout, this information is available to you by visiting your Cubit Tools Inc account. Once you have logged in, select “ORDERS” to view the status and other information regarding each order. If you have not received an email containing your tracking information, it means your order is still being processed in our warehouse.
How do I update my email address or address if I have input it incorrectly or it has changed?
If you have created an account during checkout, you may change this information yourself and it will be applied for all FUTURE orders. Please visit your Cubit Tools Inc account, log in to your account, and select “ADDRESSES” to edit your billing and/or shipping address. To change your email address, select “ACCOUNT DETAILS.” If you have checked out as a guest, please contact us at info@cubittools.com.
Can I personally cancel my order(s) in my account?
No, you cannot cancel an order once payment has been received. Please contact us at info@CubitTools.com for assistance and include your order number.
Product FAQ’s
What type of material can I use the Tongue &Groove Easy Hanger with?
It is designed to only be used with “plank” type material that is manufactured to be installed on ceilings and walls. Ex. tongue and groove, bead board, shiplap, nickel gap, barn wood. It is NOT designed to be used with certain MDF products such as crown molding, baseboards, etc. It is NOT designed to be used with “sheet” type material such as plywood, sheetrock, cement board, etc.
What are the dimensions of the “plank” type material that the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger is designed to work with?

The “plank” type material I want to use is thicker that what is listed as being supported. Does the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger not support this?
The supported thickness dimension is based on Net/Actual Size-Dimensions not Nominal Size. We have any easy guide to help you understand the difference between the two sizes on our Net/Actual vs. Nominal Size page.
How many people are needed to install “plank” type material when using the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger?
The T&GEH is designed to allow you to install “plank” type material with only one person. Please review the recommended Installation Instructions on our How To Use page.
How do I use the tool to install “plank” type material on the ceiling?

Can I use a steel hammer to strike the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger handle base during installation?
NO. DO NOT USE a metal/steel hammer during the installation process to strike the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger handle base. Using a metal/steel hammer will void your warranty. It is only recommended to use a standard, rubber, dead-blow, or sand mallet to strike the handle base.
How many of the Tongue & Groove Easy Hangers are needed to install “plank” type material on ceilings or walls?
It is recommended to always use 3 T&GEH’s when your material is over 8 feet long to ensure that the material does not sag and does not fall from the location you are installing it. The more T&GEH’s that are used the faster, easier, and safer your installation will be.
Can I use this version of the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger to install “plank” style material directly onto an existing ceiling or wall?
No, there must be a minimum of 11/16th of an inch (17.46mm) of space between the existing ceiling and the “plank” style material being installed. We are currently developing a version of the tool to allow installation directly onto an existing ceiling.
Is the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger patented?
Yes, the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger is currently covered by three US Patents.

Does the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger comply with California’s Prop 65?
Yes, the Tongue & Groove Easy Hanger does comply with California’s Prop 65. While this product does not itself contain chemicals subject to Proposition 65, it is important to follow safe work practices and take appropriate precautions to minimize exposure. This product may be used in conjunction with activities such as cutting and sanding wood, which can generate dust or other substances known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
